Cat walking backwards & funny cat breading: Moonwalking Slim Shady Kitty

Pocket

See Slim Shady when he was only a kitten getting breaded for the first time. In this funny cat video he pulls some moonwalking feats and walks backwards. See the reaction of Garfield, Xena and Rihanna when they see this. If you are a fan of kittens and bread then this is a good one to see. I am thinking of doing another: Real or Fake? Cat fact or fiction with cats and bread! Anyway this video is just a flashback from the past with Slim Shady first finding out what it is like to wear bread… later in life he develops a real love affair with bread and all varieties of baked products. If there is a lot of popular requests I’ll publish more similar videos:

Should you feed a cat with bread?
If your cat lives in the open, so she has access to natural food, such as birds and mice, giving her bread is less dangerous. In addition, bread isn’t toxic to cats, but it shouldn’t be the main part of the diet. On the other side, the type of food and other additions have an important role. Brown bread is rich in fiber, so it is good for humans, but cats won’t experience this benefit. Simply said, there is no point of feeding your cat with bread. White bread has even less benefits to humans, but it has the same effect on cats. Feeding a cat with small amounts of bread is possible, due to the fact it has no positive nor negative effects. However, don’t expect any benefits.

If you liked this video, make sure to see some of my other cat bread videos and if you request to see more, I might make some extra ones:

And kittens eating lots of tasty bread treats:

Feeding your cat with bread isn’t mandatory and isn’t recommended. If you still want to feed here with bread, avoid dips and sauces, bread dough (which can stick to the back of the cat’s throat) or overly soft or sticky bread and bread with peanut butter! A better choice of bread is to give bread that you make. This type of bread has less harmful chemicals and it is safer for cats, but it isn’t mandatory part of a cat’s diet as well. Hot bread, that is too soft and looks wet, must be avoided as well, due to the fact it will get hard in the stomach. All of this means that bread should not be a part of your cat’s diet and it is better not to feed your cat with it although with taking these precautions it is okay and stray cats such as these ones will probably find it anyway.

Can Cats Eat Bread?
The short answer would be yes, it’s safe for cats to eat bread in moderate quantities. In fact, most cats actually love the taste of bread, so there’s a good chance your cat would appreciate the treat.

It is important to note, though, that cats cannot eat all types of bread. For an example, garlic and raisin breads are not safe for felines.

Why Your Cat Might Absolutely Love Bread:
can-cats-eat-breadNot every cat loves bread, but most of them would not turn down the offering. You may notice that your cat wants to eat your muffins, cakes, pizza crust and other baked goods as well.

This is because most types of bread contain yeast and cats love the flavor of yeast! Yeast is used heavily as a flavoring agent in many cat foods and treats. There are even yeast-flavored medications specifically made for cats.

Is Bread Is Okay for Cats, but Only in Small Amounts:
Yes! Bread is perfectly safe for your cat to eat. But remember, bread is high in complex carbohydrates. Cats do not need to eat carbohydrates for survival, as they are strict carnivores. Complex carbohydrates are known to contribute to obesity in cats – and their human counterparts. Obesity has many potential complications in cats such as arthritis and diabetes, and it could even lead to premature death. We would not want this to happen to your kitty, so if you would like to share your bread with your cat, please do so in moderation. No more than 10-15% of your cat’s daily caloric intake should be made of human food.

Cats with sensitive stomachs can have a reaction to any food at any time. If you give your cat bread, and you notice diarrhea, vomiting or reluctance to eat, the practice should be discontinued, and your veterinarian should be consulted.
