　畑の土を巻き上げる大きなつむじ風の様子をカメラがとらえた。

　１３日午後１時前、神奈川県相模原市の相模原総合高校近くで撮影された映像には、つむじ風が畑の黒い土やビニール袋などを空高く巻き上げながら移動していく様子が映っている。撮影したのは、車で通りかかった会社員の男性。また相模原総合高校によると、つむじ風はグラウンドを横切ったのち１分ほどでおさまったという。けが人や被害はなかった。

　気象庁は、当時、活発な積乱雲はなく、竜巻ではないだろうと述べている。
