Presidential statement “comfort women” demand compensation of victims
１５日、韓国では日本の植民地支配からの解放を祝う式典が開かれ、文在寅大統領が演説で慰安婦問題などについて被害者の名誉回復と補償などを求める姿勢を強調した。
文在寅大統領「被害者の名誉回復と補償、真相究明と再発防止の約束という国際社会の原則があります。日本の指導者たちの勇気ある姿勢が必要です」
文大統領は戦時中の慰安婦や労働者の徴用をめぐる問題など日韓の歴史問題の解決のため、被害者の名誉回復や補償などを求める原則を必ず守る、と強調し、「歴史問題に決着をつける時に日韓両国の信頼がさらに深まる」と述べた。
韓国政府は日韓の慰安婦問題をめぐる合意について検証作業を進めていて、歴史問題で日本側の対応を求める姿勢を改めて示した。
一方、ソウルの旧日本大使館の前では慰安婦像の横に今後戦時中、日本に徴用された労働者の像を設置するとしている団体が設置場所を確定するとして集会を行う予定。
