１８日夜、岐阜県瑞浪市の中央自動車道で、走行中の車７台を巻き込む土砂崩れが発生し、子ども２人を含む６人が重軽傷を負った。
警察などによると１８日午後９時半ごろ、瑞浪市釜戸町の中央道で、上下線をまたぐかたちで、高さ約１．５メートル、幅約６０メートルにわたり土砂が流出した。
この土砂に走行中の乗用車６台と大型貨物車１台が巻き込まれ、小学生２人を含む男女６人がケガをした。２人は重傷だが、命に別条はないという。
中央道は瑞浪ＩＣと恵那ＩＣの間で上下線とも通行止めとなっていて、ネクスコ中日本は復旧までに少なくとも１日から２日ほどはかかる見込みだとしている。
