東京・世田谷区で開かれたジャズコンサートで中学生に指導をしていた世界的トランペット奏者の日野皓正氏が、生徒の髪をつかむなどしていたことがわかった。
世田谷区教育委員会などによると、今月２０日、中学生約４０人とのジャズコンサートで、日野氏が演奏を止めなかった男子生徒のドラムスティックを取り上げ、髪をつかんだという。また観客からは顔をたたいていたとの指摘もあったが、区は「確認できていない」としている。
このコンサートは、日野氏らプロミュージシャンが区内の中学生を毎年指導しているもので、教育委員会は、日野氏の行為について「行き過ぎた指導」とした。一方で、生徒の保護者は「子どもは自分の行動に反省をしている。今後も活動に参加したい」と話していたという。
