More than 2000 entries for the Olympic mascot
２０２０年東京オリンピック・パラリンピックのマスコットに２０００件を超える応募が寄せられた。
２０２０年東京大会の「顔」となるマスコットの募集は今月１日から始まり、１４日正午に締め切られた。大会組織委員会によると、最終的な応募総数は、２０４２件にのぼるという。
今後はマスコット審査会で３、４点に絞り込まれた後、今年１２月から来年１月にかけ小学生による投票で最終審査が行われる。マスコットの正式発表は来年の７月から８月の予定。
