Apology by US conservative site “Fake News”
アメリカのトランプ政権で「陰の大統領」ともいわれたスティーブ・バノン氏が関わる保守系ニュースサイトが不法移民の取締りについての記事で、内容とは関係ないサッカー元ドイツ代表の選手の写真を掲載し、「これこそ本当のフェイクニュースだ」とインターネット上で書き込まれる事態になっています。
写真を掲載したのはトランプ大統領の最側近ともいわれ、先週、政権中枢の首席戦略官を解任されたバノン氏が関わる保守系ニュースサイト「ブライトバート」です。
水上オートバイをつかった不法入国をスペイン当局が取り締まっているという記事に関連して内容とは関係ないサッカー元ドイツ代表で、現在Ｊ１のヴィッセル神戸でプレーするルーカス・ポドルスキ選手が水上オートバイに乗っている写真を掲載しました。この写真はポドルスキ選手のプライベート中に撮影されたもので、ブライトバートは「水上オートバイに乗っている人のイメージとして使った。選手に謝罪したい」としておわびを掲載する事態となりました。
トランプ大統領が一部メディアを「フェイクニュース」と批判するなか、今回の記事をめぐりインターネット上では「これこそが本当のフェイクニュースだ」などと書き込まれる事態になっています。
ドイツのメディアによりますと、ポドルスキ選手はブライトバートに対し法的措置も検討しているということです。
