[Typhoon 18] One hour 110 mm rain in Oita
台風１８号は１７日午前、鹿児島・南九州市付近に上陸した。
九州のほぼ南半分が風速２５メートル以上の暴風域に入っている。１７日夜にかけては西日本を通過し１８日朝には東北に達する見込み。
大分県の佐伯市佐伯付近では午前９時までの１時間に約１１０ミリの雨が降ったとみられ、記録的短時間大雨情報が発表された。
１８日昼までの雨量は四国で３５０ミリ、近畿で３００ミリ、九州北部と中国で２５０ミリなどと予想される。
また予想される最大瞬間風速は九州、四国、中国で４５メートルなどとなっている。
土砂災害や低い土地の浸水、川の増水やはん濫、暴風、高波、高潮に厳重な警戒が必要。

The expected maximum instantaneous wind speed is 45 meters in Kyushu, Shikoku, and China, for example.
